The Revue
This memorable revue pays homage to the 20th Century Broadway icons and giants of musical theatre, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. Spend a evening harkening to the days of sophistication in the intimate setting of the No Exit Cafe and celebrate beautiful songs and lyrics from some of musical theatreʼs classics that have forever defined the genre: Carousel, Cinderella, The King and I, Oklahoma, South Pacific, The Sound of Music and more.
The musical revue features six singers and one baby grand piano in the intimate 60-seat setting of the No Exit Café in Rogers Park. More than 30 songs from many of musical theatre’s classics of the 20th century are represented in the revue, including numbers from Carousel, The King and I, Oklahoma, South Pacific, The Sound of Music and more.
Director is Fred Anzevino, Theo Ubique’s Artistic Director, and music director is Austin Cook, who will also sing and play piano. Choreographer is Ben Mason.
Returning to the Theo Ubique stage are Dana Tretta and Jeremy Trager. Performing for the first time with Theo Ubique are Evan Tyrone Martin, Sara Schoch and Danni Smith in addition to Cook.
