From the Artistic Director

As Artistic Director of Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre choosing a season is always my favorite and most challenging part of the job. We are “blessed” with a truly magical venue (No Exit Cafe), intimate, communal, acoustic, and the shows we select must resonate and connect in the space as well as with our patrons, artists and community.

We will kick off our new season September 15 with William Finn and James Lapine’s 1998 off-Broadway hit, A NEW BRAIN; then we celebrate the holidays with ALTAR BOYZ, one of off-Broadway’s longest-running musicals with a comic and tuneful score; next up is SWEENEY TODD, Stephen Sondheim’s tale of revenge, opening March 12; then, the company’s No Exit swan song, will be a cabaret saluting our many hits from 2004 to the present, titled LAST CALL: A CABARET.

This will be our last season at The No Exit Cafe before we move to our new home on Howard Street. For more information on our new home, click here

In the meantime, please join us for our 2017-18 season here at The No Exit!
